This time with the weather being cold and wintery, we chose to sit inside.
We just returned from dinner at Panda House, and I must say I was pleasantly surprised. I have seen the Panda House Chinese Restaurant and Sushi Bar in Rooihuiskraal before, and from the logo and overall look I gathered that it was more of a contemporary/modern Asian restaurant. Tonight we wanted to have sushi somewhere [...]

A new restaurant recently opened up in the Rooihuiskraal area, and we decided to go try it out. With a name such as “The Cardamom Pod” and modern logo and styling, we guessed that the meals would be authentic indian with a slightly funky vibe.
Back to January, back to work, and back to rushing. This was true for our arrival at Montecasino to go and watch Cinderella on ice, which was breathtaking, but that's another review for another site... We did not arrive there intending to review it, but the food made us think otherwise!

Cobblestones has a “Potjie Pots” selection – meals that are served in miniature potjie pots, along with a choice of rice or mash.
